We’re pretty lucky here in Adelaide with our access to the beach, we say that wherever you live, you’re always about half an hour away from the beach.

One of the local sights that you see at beaches here and all around Australia (and the world) is the Pelican. With their black and white feathers and iconic large pink bill, they are a sight to be seen.
While our other pocket knives have been on the smaller side using a drop point blade, we wanted to try something bigger, and the only bird we thought justified a bigger blade was the Pelican.

So what can you do with a pocket knife this big?
The bigger question is what can't you do with it?

We can never really know what our day will throw at us, that's why it's important to have a knife designed and built for everyday use.
The Pelican wasn't designed to be a hardcore military style of knife (there's too many like that here on Kickstarter and we've done it before with the Raven and Currawong) but rather something functional, yet damn good looking - a knife that you can take camping, show off to your mates or hang up on the wall.
