Spare blade for the No 7 Casström Field Saw.
7cm long cutting edge.
The steel used for the blade has been carefully selected and tested to meet high standards set for cutting efficiency as well as strict hygiene criteria for handling food. The steel has been heat treated to achieve a hardness of approx. HRC 56-59. The composition of the steel can be found below:
C Mn Cr Ni V Mo
0.80% 0.40% 13% 0.20% 0.10% 0.15%
To change the blade, simply unscrew the four security screws/bolts, separate the two handle scales and replace the blade. Please note that the three screws closest to the blade will only unscrew from the front of the handle (with Casstrom logo facing you) as the bolts inserted from the back are fixed in their position. The fourth screw and bolt at the end of the handle may require two allen keys/hex tools to be undone.
