The Boker Scout has been firmly connected to the Boker name since 1985, and no one would have expected the pocket knife to be one of the most successful and popular knives from Boker's range. While no other model has had as many versions as the Scout over the years, the basic specifications haven't changed. The extremely stable body is from a single piece nickel silver which is produced by sintering.
The hollow ground blade made of stainless N690 is forged by Böhler and contributes with its memorable shape to the incomparable appearance of the Scout. A classic Backlock keeps the blade safely open. When the knife is opened, the spine locks into a notch on the back of the blade. To close the knife, push down the exposed part of the spine. The harmonic overall impression of this classic version is completed by pleasantly shaped handle scales made of warm toned certified imported Thuja Wood.
NOTE: Wood is a natural material, colour may vary considerably.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
