Australia's Knife Specialists | Knowledgeable Advice, No Hassle Customer Service & the Best After Sales Support
The Boker Damascus Olive Kitchen Knife line combines traditionally Japanese handles made of Olive Wood with razor sharp blades of stainless Damascus with 37 layers of steel, characterised by a beautiful grain. The extremely high-impact core of the Damascus blade consists of the high performance VG-10 steel. The noticeable sharpness when cutting makes cooking an experience.
The secret of this unusual sharpness lies in the material and its processing. The blade consists of 37 layers of Damascus steel. The stainless premium blade steel VG-10 used for the center layer is made in Japan and offers hardness, resilience and a homogeneous crystalline structure. Thus, constant sharpening is a thing of the past.
Thanks to its long and slim shape, the Carving Knife is ideally suited for the precise cutting of meat and fish. Extremely fine slices can be cut just as easily as cubes or uniformly strong tranches. The Carving Knife is slightly more flexible than other knives and slides optimally through the meat.
Please note - as a natural material, there may be shade and pattern variations in the timber handles and block. Each one is unique. Care of wooden items- Do not place in dishwasher. Hand wash and dry promptly, and keep oiled with a food grade oil or board cream.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th Century. By the 1800s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in various European wars. In the 1860s the company had split, with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products, and both used the “Tree Brand” logo, representing the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th Century.
