Chopping - sharp! Never before has mincing meat, fish, or vegetables been easier than with the Chai Dao from the globally acclaimed Boker Core Series. From rough processing of meat with bones to delicate slicing to precise chopping of herbs, this kitchen knife masters every task with the usual agility of the Core series. More than just a life hack! Handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.
Please note - as a natural material, there may be shade and pattern variations in the timber handles and block. Each one is unique. Care of wooden items- Do not place in dishwasher. Hand wash and dry promptly, and keep oiled with a food grade oil or board cream.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th Century. By the 1800s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in various European wars. In the 1860s the company had split, with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products, and both used the “Tree Brand” logo, representing the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th Century.
