Boker has harnessed their decades of experience and finely honed sense for the requirements of cooking and kitchen enthusiasts in the product development of the Boker Core series, combined with our almost 150 years of experience as a Solingen Knife Manufactory. The result is a premium product with dynamic lines, excellent handling and breathtaking cutting capability. The Boker Core 3 Piece K nife Set comprises three knives from the Boker Core series (20cm Chef's Knife, 16cm Small Chef's Knife and 9cm Paring Knife) and Tea Towel in attractive packaging.
The knives' solid blade slugs are made from a chromium molybdenum vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15), perfectly suited for premium kitchen knives, and are hand forged with Solingen craftsmanship, structurally optimised and hardened to 58 HRC. In order to give the blade a longer service life and even finer cut, our traditional hand grind is then highly polished.
The forged bolster ensures a secure and protective grip. The Core Series' knives feature a gently rounded spine, making the knife easy and comfortable to handle in any position, even if strong pressure is applied to the spine, while executing a rock chop, for instance.
The beautifully patterned and perfectly proportioned walnut handles round out the cohesive and minimalist look. A superb set for a lifetime of culinary art, with a Lifetime Guarantee on materials and workmanship.
Please note - as a natural material, there may be shade and pattern variations in the timber handles and block. Each one is unique. Care of wooden items- Do not place in dishwasher. Hand wash and dry promptly, and keep oiled with a food grade oil or board cream..

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
