Note: As a natural material, each wooden handle is unique. Oil the handle occasionally to preserve the long life of your knife. This product has been manufactured by submitting raw materials to manual treatments and processes that make each knife unique, original and not standardised. Any irregularities on the knife surface are additional guarantees of its uniqueness and manual treatments and processes and they do not effect the knife function.
Carbon Steel Blade Care: Please note that this knife is made with carbon steel, not stainless steel. Carbon steel knives require extra care to prevent rusting and oxidation of the surface. Carbon steel knives should not be placed in a dishwasher or allowed to soak in a sink. After use we recommend cleaning the blade and dry thoroughly. You may apply a light coating of oil to the blade’s surface. If your blade shows signs of rust, use some steel wool to remove it and then apply some oil to the blade. To keep the blade razor sharp, use a honing, or sharpening, steel. After some use, the carbon steel blade will develop a patina, a colour/darkening which is desirable and an indication of its age.
