The Boker Boxer Fixed is the fixed version of the extremely popular traditional pocket knife by Raphaël Durand, the French custom knifemaker from Thiers. It is equipped with a dark stonewashed N690 blade with an elegant ricasso on the back of the blade. The cobalt alloyed blade steel from Böhler is ice-hardened to 60 HRC. The handle scales of this handy knife are made of finely textured natural canvas Micarta, which darkens over time due to the influence of UV radiation. With rivets and reinforced carbon fibre lanyard hole and high-quality leather sheath. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.

The history of Boker can be traced back to the 17th century. In the 1800’s the German tool maker was producing swords and other blades for use in the various wars that were going on in Europe at the time. In the1860’s the company had split with part of the family emigrating and setting up factories in America. The German and American factories produced similar products. Both used the “Tree Brand” logo. The “Tree Brand” logo represents the giant chestnut tree that was at the front of the original Boker factory in Remscheid, Germany in the 17th century.
