Elegant, sleek and strong.By: dave bodycomb on 2 October 2016I have owned this BM Vicar since it came into stock with KNA a few weeks ago, used it for several tasks including processing cardboard, whittling different hardwoods, rope, and it is a superb vicously sharp cutter that rips through materials with ease. The subdued military style green on black handle highly appealed to my sense of aesthetic and i like rounded tanto blades i believe they are much more versatile than straight edge tanto. I knew it was a great knife before i purchased, but not how good until i got it. You really need to hold this folder in your hand to appreciate what a superb pocket knife this is, its really something else and is my favourite of the 3 BM folders i own. Yes its a little pricey, however, your paying for very thick accurately machined titanium liners and S30V blade thats finely engineered and crafted and made in the USA. Blade grind is dead set even, absolutely no horseplay or wobbles whatsoever, totally secure liner lock up, excellent in hand ergonomics, good strong edc for emergencies and top of the line materials and design. The only slight minus i can think of is the poket clip grabs against the textured stacked green handle in your jeans pocket which makes it slightly hard to remove, but -aaah-so what, just means its staying put so you wont loose it, probably a good thing anyways. I DONT want to loose it!! You could always take the clip off and de spring it slightly if you wanted, but not really necessary, i havent. It goes everywhere with me always 24/7. Although its billed as a tactical s/d folder, it excells at cutting and is superbly functional. Deploys easily smoothly and quickly, very robust but slimmish and comfortable to carry. Winning combo! Absolute keeper. You cant go wrong, its worth every penny, i LOVE it.
